[Unit Project 2 ] Making waterless curry



 Do you know how to make keema curry? Do you know how to make keema curry from yogurt? I am going to teach you how to make a waterless yogurt keema curry that incorporates all of these. I often make this waterless curry because it doesn't use water and is gentle on the body. I recommend it to people who want to lose weight or eat healthy. This recipe is especially recommended for people living alone because it's healthy and easy!

-Cooking utensils to prepare

  • One medium-sized frying pan
  •  One medium-sized balls
  • One knife
  • One cutting board
  • One ladle
  • One teaspoon
  • One tablespoon
  • One Spatula
  • One Large plate

-Material (Serves 4)

  1. Rice 800g
  2. Ground pork 300g
  3. Onion 350g
  4. Garlic 10g
  5. Ginger 10g
  6. Canned whole tomatoes (1 can) 400g
  7. Plain yogurt 200g
  8. Salt 1.5 tsp
  9. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
  10. Salted butter 25g
  11. Salad oil 1 tbsp
  12. Parsley (dried) Appropriate amount
  13. SB carry powder 2 tbsp

-Making waterless yogurt keema curry

1.Peel the skin off the ginger and garlic using the small knife.

2.Finely chop the garlic, ginger and onion on the cutting board. Finely chop the ginger, garlic, and onion and place in separate containers.

3.Heat the salted butter and salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the garlic and ginger from step 2 and stir fry.

4.Once the aroma comes out, add the ground pork and onion and stir fry over medium heat.

5.When the ground pork starts to change color, add the whole tomatoes, mash them while mixing, simmer over high heat for about 5 minutes.

6.Once the liquid has reduced, add the yogurt and simmer over high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

7.Once the mixture has thickened, add the Worcestershire sauce while still on high heat and mix, then reduce the heat to low, add the curry powder and salt and stir until the flavors are well combined, then remove from the heat.

8.Place the cooked rice on a plate, pour over the 7, sprinkle with parsley and it's done.

-Key Points
  1.  Yogurt tends to separate, so keep an eye on it and adjust the heat accordingly.
  2. Adjust the amount of salt to taste.
  3. You can also leave the ginger skin on.
  4. I used a can of whole tomatoes this time, but you can also use a can of chopped tomatoes to make this delicious dish.
  5. It may be a little bland, so you can add more salt later.
